Our
first ever clan gathering took place in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal
between July 30th and August 7th 2010. Approximately 180 McGinleys
from Ireland, Scotland, England, Canada, USA and Australia came
together for this historic event. It was the first time that clan
members re-united from all over the world since their dispersal
just over 400 years ago.
We
would like to express our eternal gratitude in helping us to organise
this clan re-union to Niall McGinley, Martin McGinley, Dr. Don McGinley,
Dessie Larkin, Charlie McGinley, McGinley Coaches, McGinley Motors,
Etienne McGinley, all performers who took part in Gala Concert,
McGinley School of Irish Dancers, County Donegal Museum, Donegal
Library.
